Children the Heart of the Matter conference brings together all those involved in the care and education of young children. Our purpose is to raise the awareness and profile of child care and early childhood development services, family resource programs and others through professional development, networking, and sharing of information and resources.

The conference will be of interest to all those who work with young children and families in childcare settings, family resource programs, primary school grades and other community health professionals, parents, grandparents, government officials and parks and recreation staff.

The conference begins on Friday, February 3rd and continues on Saturday February 4th at the Bell Centre for Performing Arts. The Friday keynote address is with Dr. Gordon Neufeld, a Vancouver-based developmental psychologist with 40 years experience with children and youth and those responsible for them.
