The Annual Surrey Children’s Festival inspires young hearts & minds to the greater possibilities & celebrates our rich & diverse cultural heritage though performing & visual arts experience. Children have an incredibly rich arts experience as they take part in the many hands-on activities on site, led by professional artists. The ticketed programming is a national and international selection of the highest calibre of performances for young audiences, bringing inspiration and awe to the residents of Surrey and the surrounding areas.

Surrey’s Canada Day celebration has grown to reach attendance levels surpassing 100,000 people with top-notch entertainment, great food, family-friendly activities and a spectacular fireworks finale! Get set for an outstanding line-up of entertainment, amusement rides and lots of fun for all ages.
This year’s main stage presented by Chevron boasts another stellar line up featuring multi-platinum rock legends, Trooper and Prairie classic rock heroes, Harlequin for an amazing double bill.
The entertainment line-up runs non-stop all day with two other distinct double bills: Pop songstress and TV star Elise Estrada (Beverly Hills Ninja 2, Rock Star Academy and Love Court) is teamed up with The Latency for a session of pure pop from 5 pm to 7 pm. Canadian country’s hottest stars, The Jeffersons featuring Lisa Brokop, and the amazing Tribute to Johnny Cash – Big River, will perform while the sun is shining mid-afternoon.
Just announced is new dual stage line-up for the second stage presented by The Peak 100.5 FM. Billed as The Peak Performance Stage, this ambitious set-up will feature two side-by-side stages running non-stop all day to host the Top 20 bands in BC as selected for the Peak Performance Project. There will also be special appearances by Mark Donnelly and DJ Collective The Freshest.
Other special attractions include Shooting Star Amusement Rides featuring the Gravitron and the Zipper, plus a full range of family-oriented talent for the younger crowd, interactive games and bouncy castles for the kids.
Surrey’s Canada Day will take place Friday July 1st at the Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre located 176 Street & 64th Avenue. The event is free to the public and gates open at 10 am with the fireworks lighting up the sky at 10:15 pm.
